Summary

Originally opened as "Butts" in 1860 and renamed to Albert Park in 1872,  a signal cabin was erected at Bridport Street in 1898 with interlocked gates.

Crossover operated with hand lever, locked with Annett Key released by an unknown lever in the frame.

Crossover abolished June 1959.

Boom barriers replace interlocked gates at Birdport Street September 1960, signal box abolished.
